The pictures in this gallery were taken over a five day period traveling through Huesca. Huesca is the most northern third of Aragon. Zaragoza is in the middle and Teruel is in the South. Most of these pictures were taken in the high Pyrenees. Many of the roads we treveled are only passible five months out of the year. Enjoy.
Spain is experiencing a drought and the sunflowers are slumping in some places. They are grown for their seeds (pipas in Spanish) and their oil. They really do rotate their stems during the day to follow the sun.
